I am currently bonding Ruby, Eeyore & Pooh with Sadie, their older sister.
Shes had the baby boys taken out of her cage and now is a lone piggy and a very sad lone piggy at that!

Ruby is chasing her, trying to nip her and shes chasing pooh and eeyore if they get too close, apart from that Sadie is settled with Pooh & Eeyore and is keeping her distance from Ruby.

So question is do I carry on or separate?

I have a feeling Ruby is protecting her baby girls (8 weeks old) or shes just in a right old mood today:(|)

Give them time and see how it goes. Mothers and new ex-mothers tend to overreact somewhat.

yeah don't force them to be friends 24/7, introduce them for afew hours a day, they'll soon be ok x

Thanks guys, I think I will do a hour a day and keep bumping the time up, at least sadie has the sense to keep away from Ruby! inbreeding

Well I have tried again this morning and things went great, even had Sadie and Ruby snuggled up together, no chasing now and no nipping:))

I have moved them into a neutral cage and things are going great, we have hay nomming, I have gave them 3 bowls just to avoid any arguements:)

Yay! I guess they got over and decided they need to be in a bigger herd! Congratulation and give them kisses for me! x)

Little miss sadiesaurus is much happier to be with some friends, best of all is that they are all of the same sex, boils my blood to know the last owners felt it was fine for her father to be left in the cage with hergrrrrmallethead
