thank you so very much. Having had hamsters in the past, with teeth like needles, I said to Cooper (my 05 year old) that i would handle them first to get them used to being handled so if they bit, it would be me they hurt not him, but these seem so lovable, we held them yesterday for around 3 hours through the day, not sure if that was enough, but didnt want to over power them with affection at first, but they went to sleep on us whilst we tickled their ears so i guess they felt comfy. I knew Cooper would be gentle with them as he handles newly hatched chicks, he knows to show all animals respect too.

Thank you all so much for your kind words. My son is wonderful all my kids (I have 03 sons) love animals, and know how to treat them, Cooper just almost piddlked himslef with excitement as he was nursing Billy and Billy took some carrot from him, he was soooo chuffed bless him.
Ruby (our beautiful little princess doggie) unfortuately passed away 15th may this year, we were all sat with her when she passed, she was 13 and half years old.

;D Awww, bless him.

I am so sorry to hear your dog passed away and quite recently as well, brilliant age to reach. She looked like a very happy and special dog. :'(

If I haven't already said it welcome to the forum. :)

Gaile at the minute in the aviary I have 23 budgies (i recently gave some away to family and friends) and I ahve 03 indoors and the parrot so busy busy busy. The piggies aren't kean on the budgies when they start chattering and singing, so I have to cover the birds over when the piggies are inside
