Hey there!
Any lucky Cat and Piggie parents?

I have a 5 month old kitten, Felix. His a very playful and curious boy, he is fixed. I’ve had him since he was 6 weeks old.

I am also the lucky mommy of two piggies, curls (tex) and brownie (aby). Curls is 2 months and Brownie is 4 weeks. They been with me for around a week. They have interacted with my kitten since day came home. There cage is far from the kitten and they interact during SUPERVISED playpen/floor time. Felix does not seem to be much interested by the piggies, he sniffs them for a little and then walks away. He seems to be interested on the piggies food.

I just want to know best practices, tips or any ideas of how these two can bond and interact.

To be honest the answer is they can't bond, and shouldn't interact.
Guinea pigs are fragile creatures, and even one well meaning playful swipe from a cat could cause them serious injury.
Supervised or not these things can happen in a second, and without warning.
I personally would never allow a cat (no matter how friendly and calm they seem) to have direct access to my guinea pigs.
Interaction between them offers no benefit to either animal, so it just isn't worth the risk.

As unbothered as your cat may be, he is still a predator, absolutely anything could flip a switch and lead him to swipe, chase or bite the pigs. I too have a cat and a c&c cage without a top, the cat has never tried to get in - though he sits and watches them from time to time. I don’t believe he’d ever hurt them, but I have to treat it as though he could - as domesticated as our cats are, it is their instinct to hurt/kill the guinea pig. You can’t stop that kind of nature from coming out when you least expect it. It isn’t worth the risk.
Edit: also, he’s only a kitten. When he’s a fully grown cat things will be different, the pig is more likely to be seen as prey. Eventually there will be a time when your cat will bring a bird/mouse that he’s caught, if your pig is in front of your cat - what is telling him that he shouldn’t treat the guinea pig the way he treats the birds/mice outside? Absolutely nothing. Instinct can not be overruled by training - on some occasions perhaps but like I said, it is not worth the risk
