Cat Grass...

does anyone know what cat grass actually is and if it is ok for my piggies to eat? I was sent the seeds from catfurniture.co.uk as part of a gift I bought for my cat and after painstakingly growing them she has decided staring at the grass is boring and she doesn't really know what else to with it (she's a bit special).

I dont see why not, and l suposes it you could do the same with wheat grain , may not grow as quicly
But if l remember corectly , new grown shoots are very nutritios

Completely unsure, would need to google lots.... I always say if in doubt leave it out...

So having done a fair bit of research it turns out I have wheatgrass, and judging by everything I've read so far is completely safe for piggies. I have let them try a small amount and it has gone down a treat. Looks like it may be a nice little easy to grow treat for my girls
