they have no problem eating dogs and cats in China and they just love roast guineapig in Peru.
don't know where that person was from who wanted to eat their cat but some nationalities have totally different attitudes towards animals than us Brits.
so what? people in the UK eat rabbit, and loads of people have pet rabbits.
does that make UK people better? Whats the difference if its rabbit or guinea pig?
Apparently the way they cook guinea pig actually makes it taste really bad.

According to a friend of mine, who tried it in Peru, and was sadly unimpressed.
Meat is meat - animals are animals.
Different countries have different views on different animals. Eating a cow is no different to eating a dog or a guinea pig, in my opinion. The majority of animals can be domesticated. Afterall, they eat wild guinea pigs, not the guinea pigs we know which are a result of years of breeding and domestication.
But eating your own cat?
That's a bit different.

Eating rabbit when you own rabbits is one thing, but eating a rabbit you've cared for and handled when it dies? That sort of thing, y'know.
I wouldn't want to eat something that I know personally.
