Cat Metacam Syringe!

I have one too if you want it, it isn't sealed (it just came loose in the box), but has never been used either. I can pop it in the post for you tomorrow if you pm me your address.

Do your 1ml syringes have the black rubber bit on the end? If so, I can get hold of some that don't, it's just a plastic plunger, which I found much easier for Cameo as the black rubber bit was a pain in the bum! I also used some loxicom syringes for feeding her, they were very easy (we have a stash of them at work), and I may even have an actual feeding syringe ;)

Mine hasn't gone missing - I've been carrying it around with me for over a week and keep forgetting to post it - I'm so sorry, I'll try to get to the post office tomorrow.

Err... like a day or two after I found the syringe.... I'll double check at work, I left it in the out going post but as it's a parcel and they're all a bit special when it comes to doing anything up in their little office, they tend to just leave it if they don't know how to do it, rather than asking someone, or not telling you they posted it!

I had a client at work who came in to us, on holiday in the area, but lived miles away, had their dog put to sleep with us but forgot to take his collar and lead - I promised them I'd get it sent.... weeks later they called, spoke to me again - it was still sat in the out going post tray!

I'll check it got sent for you when I go to work on Saturday, if I'm not in there before then.

Don't worry, I'm as bad. I carry things round with me for ages before getting round to posting them.

Thank you. I bet you will find it's still there. The CC you sent me took a long time to get here too, so I am guessing that was in the outgoing post tray for ages too.
 
I'm sure I have one or two kicking around. my internet is playing up so down at my parents at the min in order to do my assignments but will check when I'm home
 
Sorry Debbie, I've just spoken to them and they only provide them with the Metacam. I asked if they have anything like it I could have separately, and they don't. Apologies for raising your hopes. The only other thing I can think of is putting an advert in our P * s s y Cat Lodge newsletter for used syringes, and see what (if anything) I get, but it only comes out quarterly. Worth a try, anyway.

What about asking in the Guinea Pig magazine?
 
I was sorting out my pet drawer and found two from the two boxes of metacam that cameo had!

I'll pop them in the post tomorrow & hunt down the other package!
 
I sent mine today, so hopefully you will get it tomorrow :)
 
Could you write to the manufacturers of Metacam and explain how wonderful their syringes are for dental piggies and ask could they out of the goodness of their hearts let you have some .... it does work sometimes.
