Cat wee on fleece

Hi,

Was hoping someone could advise.
Unfortunately my kitten has peed on my freshly washed Guinea pig fleece .
I have read that cat wee can be dangerous to piggies, and was wondering if I washed it again in a hot wash and some vinegar, whether it would be still be safe for my piggies.
Would really rather not have to fork out for new fleece at the moment!

i would wash them at 60 degrees,dry naturally.you can use white vinegar or laundry cleanser in the softner draw.if you are really concerned just wash twice.i have a cat,she occasionally leaks urine on her fleece,thats how i wash mine!all the best.just be careful allowing your kitten near the guinea pigs.

He was nowhere near the piggies- I had just taken the fleece out of the machine and he peed on it! Never let them in the same room as the pigs
