Yes they are :-) mine love them!

They are fine as far as I'm aware I've always given them to my guinea pigs. My girls only get them rarely as they don't really like them much, but they had some last night.

They are fine. I only give a very small amount as they are gassy, and I can't risk it with one of my girls, as she has tummy troubles from time to time
