Cauliflower Willie Infection

I am a horrible piggy owner I have had buddy for a year now and didn't know you have to clean out their butts. I have a female I've had for 5 years ..anyway changing the pigs bedding I was holding him on his back and checking his nails like I always do and noticed his belly right above his penis was swollen and some yellow green stuff came out of his penis. Which all of a sudden looks really weird I never saw it like this before it is like the cauliflower willies I have seen now that I looked it up it never looked like that before I thought his wee wee blew up .. I looked online found videos about impaction and having to clean them out. So I check him and for not ever having done it it wasn't bad at all. He doesn't act like it's hurting him. Just weird Brown stuff coming out

Welcome to our friendly forum. You are not a horrible piggy owner at all. If you didn't know you didn't know! It just shows how much you care now that you have found out that you have asked for help. Take your piggy to the vet for a check up as this is not normal.

Please do not feel like you are a bad owner for not knowing things. Pet keeping is a learning curve; most of the knowledge in our forum guides (there is a shortcut for them on the top bar) has been learned the hard way!

Please see a vet tomorrow as your boy will require a vet check and an antibiotic; the yellow green stuff you mention is most likely pus from an infection.
