Think Hoggle has one, I just checked Ludo and all you can see really are his testicles...I have a picture of Hoggle for you to check and also is this a problem?

Alcesterpigs will hopefully be able to comment on this for you.

Ahhh poor Hoggle, thanks for the info, will go take a look.

I suppose it is a good thing I am changing from wood shavings to pellets, it will be easier for him to keep clean. :)

Hoggle would kill me if he knew I put such an undignified picture of him on the internet!

Sometimes boars can get excited, and boar glue dries around the area which prevents the penis retracting back in as normal. Keep the area clean, you could also try a bit of vaseline to lubricate the penis. If it is this, it will right itself in a few days.

Thanks, will try that. :)

Do I clean it with water or could I use guinea pig shampoo? Is it too sensitive for that?

I wouldn't use shampoo just in case you irritate the skin, don't use cotton wool either as it leaves fibres behind. Just some gauze if you have some, or else a cotton wool pad, with slightly warmed water. Boar glue is very similar to SUPER glue (LOL) so you may not be able to remove it, if this is the case you'll just need to leave Hoggle to sort it himself :)

Hehe thanks! Would a cotton bud work? I do have pads but I think a bud would be easier, will have to get BF to hold him, he is hard work at best of times without me messing with his crown jewels! :(|)

If you have a look at the area you might be able to see the boar glue, it is very hard, white/clear in colour?

Just checked him now and can't see anything, had a little feel too (sorry Hoggle "):(|) ) and the area felt soft so think it is just the way he is going to be. :(

My Merlin had a huuuuuuge Cauli. It kept on growing and growing!
By the time he was 4 it was following him around on the floor. :))

Keep it clean and check for hay or food stuck in / on it. Merlin had a bleed once and he had a piece of hay that had pierced the skin so its a good idea to be observant

No need to wash the bits and pieces, he should keep them clean himself.

Thanks. :) I will just keep an eye on it. :)

Oh god I don't want it dragging behind! Do they all do that?! :{

Does it pose any health problems down the line?

It was my first experience of a cauli so I cannot say if they all grow but Merlin's did.
It didnt seem to bother him and he would drag it through hay and along the carpet and the floor but I never saw him clean it or remove bits from it himself.
He sometimes got tiny sores on it as well from being dragged along but again it didnt seem to bother him.
I just gave the area daily attention (looking) and more regular bathing
