cause of sudden death?

one of my little piggies has died today... :( he was only 7 months old and he was happy and fine last night.

darwin on the right hand side.

my sister came to clean his cage earlier today and found him dead. :( she said there was some brown poey stuff on his back side but nothing else in the cage. no bite marks or anything. there's another piggy in the cage too but he seems fine.

does anyone know what could have caused him to die so quickly? :(

I am sorry for your loss; your piggy was very pretty!

Heart attacks and strokes can sadly happen at any age, but it is difficult to make any diagnosis over the net.
 
HUGS I'm so sorry for you loss! I lost a 7month old pig last month so know how devastating it is (although it is at any age, its seems so much harder when they are young).
I'm sorry I cant help with the reason why, but there are a lot of very knowledgeable people on here who should be able to help.
I just wanted to say I'm so sorry xx
