Wow, I have just witnessed something pretty amazing. For the first time ever amongst my current group of boars, I just heard chirping. Not only that but Claudio joined in with Algernon and they were both at it together for ages. Both sat contentedly chirping away in time with each other.
They stopped then I heard Rupert and Herbie having a go at it but it was more heavy breathing as they couldn’t get the squeaking bit going. 🤣
I did take some videos but not sure how to upload.
I think a short burst out in the garden while being cleaned out has brought on much excitement!
As a choir leader, if only I could get them all doing the guinea pig song. We’d clean up at BGT! 😂

It was most remarkable. I haven’t heard a piggy do the song for years and not any of my current eight.
Algernon was sprawled out on his ledge doing it then Claudio in the cage above jumped up on his ledge and joined in with perfect pitch and rhythm. Rupert, next to Algy tried his best but it came across as more of a panting sound and then Herbie in the next cage was trying the same. Perhaps they’re basses not tenors.
😂
I do sing to them a lot and occasionally I get squeaked at but I think they decided to entertain me tonight! 😍
