Thought you might like to see my pics from Sunday's pignic. It was a really nice day with lots of nice people and piggies. I was a little bit over whelmed and can't remember everyone I spoke to, so please forgive me if I forgot you. Special thanks to Mark (dindypig) for transporting us to and from the station and to Alison, Laura & Wiebke for being so friendly. Also Sue G and another Sue from Cavy Corner I think... As I said, I got a bit confused. :))

Firstly, Tufty? having a tummy tickle from Wiebke.

My Cappuccino wondering what it's all about.

My Latte trying to hide.

Me with Latte.

Talking and comparing piggies.

A lovely pig whose name I can't remember, sorry.

Another cute piggy.

Cavy Corner's set up.

Cavy Corner pig.

Me with my poor effort at twisty stuffing. You should have seen the one that won!

Not sure if this is one of Marks pigs.

Me with Hero, one of the Cavy Corner pigs.

Isn't he a beauty?

My favourite little pig- Tamworth, a werewolf skinny. She was the most adorable little girl ever and I wanted to steal her, but I didn't manage it.

Can you tell I loved her? :)) :))

Lastly, a new addition to my family. Please meet Berry x)

Oh my gosh! That looks so fun! I wish I could go to something like that. It'd be the happiest day of my life. Screw disneyland or anywhere like that!

That lil naked piggie is pure adorable! I've never seen one so cute!
Love all the piggles here. So jealous I wasn't there.

Aww, you have some great photo's and some gorgeous piggies.

I was there too on Sunday but didn't get the chance to come across and say hello. Sorry, I was hiding out in the corner somewhere with Sue G and my piggies. I'm not great with socialising. May be I'll meet you next time? x

Aww, sorry I didn't meet you Claire. I missed stewybus too. I understand how you feel as I suffer from depression and anxiety and don't always do well in social situations, but I was pleased with myself on Sunday. I think the piggies broke the ice so to speak. Hope to see you next time. :)

Yes Margaret, that is Tufty being tummy tickled by Wiebke. Most of the day he was with Ellie his favourite CavyCorner volunteer.
It was a pleasure to meet Cappuccino and Latte.
I see that you have found that there is a knack to filling a twisty with hay.
The little innocent looking black piggy in the blue pigloo is Tom Tom, one of the ASBO Twins. He is one of Alison and My pigs.
The gorgeous Hero is featured in a rescue story that Sue from CavyCorner wrote for The Guinea Pig Magazine.
Tamworth is the sister of our Pinky and Perkins.
Berry is going to love living with you, what a wonderful Strawberry pig.
We're so glad that you came along and had a good time.

Margaret, thank you so much for such a wonderful selection of pictures. I too have a strawberry pig - she's beautiful, isn't she. I'm sorry I didn't get more of a chance to chat, but will make a point of it next time. But I'm so pleased you were able to come.

fab pics, its always nice to put faces to names. Love love love Tamworth, what a pretty girl. thanks for sharing

It was great to meet you and your husband Nick, as well as your two stunners! Piggies are such a good way of breaking the ice... ;)

Mark's Tufty always gets a special little tummy tickle from me because I know that he likes them as long as his front paws are supported. He is quite a cuddle piggy!

I already have my own purple flowered version of your Berry pig at home. They are in support of Cavy Corner rescue who organised the Pignic and can be ordered via their facebook page.

Personally, I am not in favour of leads and felt very sorry that piggy; if one panics, it can seriously injure its spine.

I agree about leads and harnesses. I did feel sorry for the piggy too.

I think that Berry may be the start of a new obsession lol. I'm sure she would be happier with a friend or two... or three lol.

Lovely photos looks like a wonderful day. Am surprised no-one pointed out that harnesses shouldn't be used though, I would have struggled to keep my mouth shut lol.

fantastic photos of hoomans and piggies!

Looks like you all had a really fun time.

A great big thanks for sharing these pigtures of piggies and slaves... :laluot_24:

Lisa & Ali... xx

To be honest; I didn't see it until I saw Margaret's picture as I must have been somewhere else at the time. I hope that somebody will have done so!

Actually, Nick took most if not all of the photos, so I didn't see who that piggy belonged to. I'd be surprised if no one had a word with them, but Nick wouldn't have known it to be a problem. :)
