We got a 10lb bacg of Cavy Cuisine from the vets which is a 45 min drive to a town we don't go to unless we are taking the piggies to the vet or going to get something for them.
We got this bag of food in May or June and they've almost finished it off, so it means a trip back to the vet (they have the best price) to get more...I am wondering because the Bag says "Best By Apr 2011" (posted a pic to make sure I wasn't imagining it!) if I can buy at least 2 bags and save a trip...I want to make sure it doesn't lose its Vitamin C content. My 7 pigs love it and eat quite a bit!
Cavy Cuisine, in case you do not know, package their food in solid maroon bags to keep the light out.
Just want to make sure because that seems like a very lengthy shelf life!
