On Vedra's website the second part of the course says its 3 days with accommodation provided. Anyone know where the accommdation is?ie. hotel or Vedra's house?!

3-day residential course £195.00. 2 nights accommodation free for both student and guinea pigs. Additional nights £28.00 per night per person

I believe it is the practical part of the rodentologist training but I may be wrong.

There are two courses:

- Rodent Health Advisor (RHA)
- G-BAR

The RHA is an introduction to rodentology. It covers a wide range of topics with a good level of detail, without getting too involved or technical. It's a good starter for those with little or no background knowledge of piggie health care.

I know this course has been altered very recently, so the 3 day residential part may not be compulsory any more - I think Vedra has added an interactive training section for those who cannot attend the CCT to do their hands on training. Myself, I feel strongly that the hands on training is important and very beneficial - and I feel that despite me not being able to attend even though I only live a mile away! But in the interest of getting the basic knowledge to as many people as possible, the new components should be helpful.

The G-BAR is the full rodentology course, it is an an in-depth study programme in three separate modules. It takes a minimum of 18 months to complete this course.
