Would it be ok to use CC cages/pens in the shed, even during winter? (There is no heating or anything but they get loads of hay)

Also I need to know approximately how much it would cost to build about two 2x3's and two 2x4's?

Thanks. :)

I wouldn't use C and C in a shed - I don't think they would be protected enough.

I know some people who do but I just think it would be too draughty etc for them- especially if you are not planning on having heating etc in there.

Yeah, with the walls all made of the grids rather than mostly solid walls and 1 mess window like a reguar hutch they may be draughty. I think a roof is nice if its drauhty or cold too.

my sheds are full of c c runs but i do have heating, a tip though is to put towels round the sides I do this if I think any tiny draught can get through, plenty of hay and pigloos also help keep the warmth in, which is why I dont use them in summer
