Do your pigs eat celery every day? I'm trying mine on it today as I think they must be sick of carrots and cucumber!

My pigs like celery, especially the leaves.

I cut the stalks into chunks about a cm or so each, as it can be a bit stringy :)

i have a couple that LOVE celery... and a few that wont go near it...
its really worth a try as some of them really do love it.... oh and the leaves too...
all you've got to make sure is that you cut it up in to chunks so the stings dont get stuck in their throats....(i didnt know this untill the other day....:... )

Mine do; a small piece each with some cucumber as their "come home to the cage for bedtime" treat (otherwise known as night night tidbit). It saves me from round up my roaming Tribe!

I thought I was the only person who stood in the supermarket/market looking for the leafiest lot of celery hehe

:(|) This made me laugh, I'm always checking the condition of the leaves as much as the veg. They think I eat ever so healthy in the veg shop I use ;)

Lottie, Ruby & Lucy like celery and the leaves but Honey & Blossom only like the leaves!

mine only eat the leafy part, they will not eat any of the rest of the celery so I dont buy it often - partly as my supermarket have leafless celery :{

Really annoys me when they chop the leaves off! lol If you're ever passing Brockley Farm Shop in Brockley Coombe, they have really leafy celery lol

Celery is a diurectic, high in natural salts and calcium so best given as an occasional treat.
