I am AMAZED at the rate that one of my boys poos! When I let the two guys out for floortime, within 5 minutes there's poo everywhere and it's only ever my one pig (they both have distinctive poo :) that's the culprit! Yesterday though he set a new record - I had found an old foil silver blanket used by climbers/paramedics etc to keep people warm, so crumpled it up and the boys loved running underneath it - when I lifted it up after a few mins of them playing, Pudding had left 20 odd poos!

Is this normal? Does he do it to mark his territory (he had weed as well)? How can such a small little piggy store so much poo ;D? Does anyone have a more prolific poo machine than mine?

hah Angels the same, she could poo for england :o
and eats every damn poo she does when shes on our laps ?

I wouldn't mind if he ate the poos he did on me, surely that's a good little piggy cleaning up after himself :) ?!

lol I know just what you mean,we do that with Angel, just point and go " ey you forgot one " ;D

I've just trimmed one of my girls and when I picked her up, lots of little doodles scattered over the floor. The dog loves them though so they all went! Can't say the same for her wee though, have had to put jeans in the wash tonight ::)

ewww loves them?

dogs eating piggy poo it must be good for them, both of my dogs have always done this max still does it except he doesn't have charlie to compete with :'( they just go mad for it

Maybe it's tasty? :o don't think i'll try it to find out though ;D

jinx has spent abouyt 8 weeks lying there eating one end and producing tons of poop the other end I've never had such a productive pig i am forever shaking his bedding out,

Perhaps we ought to start bagging it up and selling it on E-bay as a new type of compost. They dry out well and would be easy to send in the post!

I dare someone to do it! I'm too much of a wuss and have only got 5 guineas - some of you have got over 30 so could get loads! Maybe this could be a way of raising funds for guinea welfare. What do you reckon Barbara?

My mother has already suggested I put it in the window boxes as compost - if I'm not chucking it at the neighbours that it ;D

there has been piggy poo for sale on ebay already hubby didn't believe me they sold it as fertiliser for house plants he was amazed

So I should stop scowling at my little bean maker and praise him for giving me a new potential business venture?! I reckon I could get a kilo a day from him alone! I'm surprised all of you on here that have a herd of the 'productive' piggies aren't swamped by how much poo they shoot out, how do you cope?!
