We originally adopted 2 male adult boars not sure their ages but after a week one passed after a bum bath thinking from a hear attach he really didn't like getting wet the other one Spencer was fine. We decided to get him a cagemate he went on piggy date and got along well with a 2 month old boar we named Shagz. They went through the bonding processed normally a few tiffs nothing major. Spencer has always been laid back and very chill also very sweet! Lately he's gotten very short when it comes to feeding he now rips his snack out my hand and tosses them! He used to just ignore or run away from shags but now he took to bullying him. They get plenty food but Spencer wouldn't let him have veggies and I give them 2 plates he's prefer to chase Shagz off from Both! Yesterday I had to separate them caught them in a circle biting each other. I had to pull them apart with blankets protecting my hands poor shagz got some pretty nasty bites. Two question is a change in behavior like Spencer had is that normak also best way to treat superficial bites the bleeding has stopped can I put normal Neosporin on.
Thanks you!

You were saying they were pretty nasty bites so worth getting Vet to look at them? When mine fought the bites looked OK but the Vet found others under the fur.
You will now have to keep them entirely separate as after theyve drawn blood they should not be in the same cage and best cages are quite well apart!
Spencer possibly had a hormone rise due to another boars presence plus having a new boar to compete with to see who was to be boss.
Check out the thread here on boars and bonding for more info.
