I recently just made my two guinea pigs a new and much bigger cage. I have noticed that both of them lay around more often and most of the time outside of their igloos compared to before where they stayed in their igloos almost all of the time. I was wondering if this was because of the extra space or something more concerning.

I suspect they feel more protected with the black cortex over the top, therefore they are relaxed and feel safe to lay outside of igloos. Good job

The cage looks great-lots of work there! Seems they have lots of places to feel safe together. Seems they are really very happy and secure with their loving piggy family.
