Change in skin colour?

Hello again everyone.
I had just recently posted about a guinea pig I picked up less than a week ago who came to me sick
I have taken her to the vets and have been told how to care for her till she recovers
However I have just found a patch of skin that changes from a light pink to a red (all around her neck), my other guinea pig doesn't have these changing colours.
Is this normal? I always become paranoid whenever my pets are sick and panic over the slightest things - please let me know if this I am blowing this out of proportion or if I should take her back the vets?

I'm not an expert but I would get this checked by a vet as it may be some sort of skin disease.

Yeah I was worried it wasn't normal, I think I'll try to get her in tomorrow to have it checked out.
 
Has it changed or has it always been this colour?
I have a girl whose skin behind her ear is two tone and looks a bit like this.

Hi! I would have that checked; that is not quite normal. Skin colour doesn't change that massively that quickly, and generally it is never to red. Your vet may take a sample for lab testing or ask you to keep it under observation.
Take the different pictures of the same patch with you, please.

I am not sure, I have only had her for about 6 days so I am simply not sure what is normal for her yet.

After you take her to the vets, please give us an update.
 
Update on Maple
The skin change seems purely pigmentation - so that is a relief.
However she is not recovered yet, in fact is going down hill.
So wish her the best!
