First queation-Can used fleece that was bought at a yard sale thrift store, given yo you etc still be wicked? Second question- do piggies enjoy their cage set up being chaged periodically. In means of adding new things and removing things every so often

I don't use fleece, but I would think as long as you wicked it correctly, then it would be ok. As far as changing the cage around, I do with mine and they seem to like exploring it.

Cool beans. I figured they enjoy the change of scenery every so often. Going to do a different set up every time i do a clean out. Gonna have different type off hidies and beds etc

I try and change my layout about after a cage clean. They seem to like it too.

Layout changes can be fun for them certainly :)

My boars love a cage change and run round exploring and nudging things around to where they want them. Changes can cause dominance issues with some boars, so it's really a case of try it and see!

Mine love to explore when I change their cage around, but every time I clean it out I leave a couple of things from the previous set up, for example a fleece hidey and a hammock, or I don't change their litter trays until they have been back in for a few hours. This keeps their own scent in the cage, and hopefully helps with the dominance issues you can get if everything is super clean and laid out differently. They have to re-establish their dominance in a 'new' area, I believe, so making it all clean and different means they have to have a bit of a bicker about it.

Yeah dont want none of that lol

yes my boys used to be a nightmare when Moved anything in their cages. Also the tip to leave some of the old bedding/cosies etc in the cage was a godsend. It has helped massively in keeping them bonded as I feel it relieves the stress from them.
