Changes in Norm since we got Daggit

Okay so we have our our new piggy since Sunday. Norm is still rumblestrutting frequently (no aggression) I’ve noticed that since we got Daggit Norm is pretty smelly idk if he’s releasing a scent because there is a new piggy or what but it’s pretty noticeable and stinky any ideas why Norm is smelly and what I can do about it?

Currently having the same issue. I think It might be that Norm is trying to figure out if Daggit is male or female. That explains the rumble strutting. As for the smell I noticed it to and I think it might be a scent that is hormone related. Is Norm putting his face all up in Daggits privates? That means he is trying to see what gender he is. Just leave them to work everything out, but make sure to examine their behavior. Good luck!

@chasebills03 Yeah Norm will check out Dag's rear and Dag will do the same. I just noticed he smelled really bad and I figured it was a hormone thing because I've never smelled that before until Dag came into the picture. Dag is very small compared to Norm so hopefully he settled the heck down lol

Norm is displaying his dominance over Dag. His sexy bum wiggle dance is saying look "look what a big handsome chap I am - don't mess with me". Christian does it all the time to the ladies and to Dennis to show off. Nobody takes a blind bit of notice but it doesn't stop him from trying!

Do you notice that he is giving off a smell?

No not really but that could be because Christian has lived with the other 4 all his life and your Dag is new so Norm could just be releasing boar pheromone too to further impress Dag.

They both got bathed lol so the smell is gone. Both boys are outside today!
