Changing Food

I feed my piggie a layer of musli and a handful of nuggets each day, with of course greens and hay, but I was wondering if you can switch their food? I want to now feed him just nuggets but do I have to change it gradually?

Hello and welcome

It's not a problem to change their food but if the nuggets are different to the ones you are currently feeding then it's best to do so gradually to avoid upsetting their stomachs. Guinea pigs can also be quite fussy so you may find they don't like the new nuggets (if these are different to the ones you are currently feeding) - introducing it slowly will ensure that they are not going hungry.
