changing food?

if i was to change my guinea pigs food over do i do it gradually?
by mixing it with the old food before introducing new?
or just start with the new?

I had to change our guys over and did it gradually, you'll know pretty quickly if your piggie likes the new food or not O0

Yep start adding the new stuff and then gradually reduce the amount of old. I found that piggies liked the new one more, picked it out and left the old stuff so I ended up just changing them completely within a couple of days.
 
I have never done this - the guinea pigs get tesco food or wagg or gertie guinea pig according to where I happen to be shopping that week. I just swap them over, no problems (except that they don't like the gertie one quite as much).

I'm useing the pets at home nuggets at the moment, but its a bit out of the way so was going to get another brand
