I want to change my pigs from P@H nuggets to Science Selective, but I only have about 3 days supply of P@H nuggets. Is that long enough to mix the food and slowly adapt them onto SS or should I buy another bag of P@H?

Depends whether your pigs like SS. They may love it and change over or may hate it and never eat it. Pigs have tastes the same as us. Mix some of the two together now and see if they eat any of the SS, but I would get some of their fave nuggets just to be on the safe side. xx

Mix it about two thirds old and one third new. Not likely to upset tummy, they are similar nuggets. I was given quite a few samples of S S and mostly mix it in with other food, but it is mostly left over. Looks pretty though. lol xx

just opened the SS for them, I see what you mean about it being pretty! the bunny SS is just boring pellets (that look like piggie poo)

Fingers crossed, the P@H doesnt look very appetising, and leaves a funny residue in the bowl... but my piggies seem to have cheap taste when it comes to hay so might prefer the nastier pellets too :{

There is a whole section at the top of the food threads about different foods. Piggies seem to have their own favourites. We just do the buying!. xx
