hi,
So some of you may be following my story. But this thread is basically because I have changed my pigs food to JR nuggets, after trying the Vetcare ones and they didn't like them :( so they have gone around 2 weeks without nuggets! But haven't lost any weight as I have been giving more veg etc. Today there JR farm grainless nuggets arrived and I have put them in their bowl, they are hesitant and have had a little nibble here and there but not much. I am wondering whether they will have an upset stomach as they have not had nuggets in a while and now they are having some high in fibre etc?

Also what is the recommended amount to give them daily? I have put 50g in their bowls, which looks pretty full! I saw that on a previous thread was the amount. Thanks

About a handful per day per pig, don't worry about the fibre. Hay will be giving them lots also.

my piggies follow a diet pellets free and are gaining weight normally...
anyway, the dose of pellets should be 1 tea spoon, not more... 80% of food is hay and grass, then some vegs (here vets suggest 100g) and max 1 teaspoon of pellets which is a concentrated dry food, far from being natural...
