Changing From Meusli To Nuggets/pellets

Morning all! Ive had my piggy Dave for about 8 weeks now, when I got him he had been fed guinea pig mix/muesli but i have been trying to change him onto pellets for the last 6 weeks or so. I have been decreasing the amount of mix but Dave picks out the muesli and refuses point blank to eat any of the nuggets/pellets. Now I'm faced with a dilemma. ive run out of the mix and not sure whether to stick to my guns and not buy any more, or relent buy some and carry on trying to persuade him to eat the pellets.
Any advice / suggestions gratefully received.

I give Chock the wag guinea pig crunch mix from Wilco as he wont eat pelets iether...

If he has no choice I think he'll suddenly find the pellets delicious! In the unlikely event that he doesn't, you can always go back to muesli. 'My exotics vet is against feeding pellets at all as they often have things like sugar in them, so I've stopped them, and they are fine on loads of hay.
