Hello piggy lovers!
I have two boars both are about 10 months old. At 1st I had them in the same cage but they were fighting allot and i found bite marks on snowball behind his ear and flixter had an injury to one of his ears so i had to separate them. There both very happy now in separate cages and both my babies get lots of attention from the whole family! I am currently using wood chip as bedding and both of them have quilted beds in there igloos. I am thinking about changing the type of bedding i use to a fleece blanket and having s section cornered off with wood chip as a toilet area. I'm just wondering what the rest of you think about this. So you think tis is a good idea? Would it be easier to keep clean or is wood chip the easiest? and do your pigs wee on the fleece bedding?
Thank yo
x

I use newspaper and hay in main section and for bedding have newspaper at the bottom with pro fleece on the top and more hay. Mine do poop and wee on fleece but its absorbed to the bottom so piggys never feel wet, It can be washed and tumble dried so its easy to clean and re use.

Yeaa i'm using fleece for the top and middle is a 100% cotton towel. Below the towel are newspaper and beddings =)
Yea they poop and pee on the fleece... i used to have a litterpan for them @ a corner but it seems that the litterpan got so *eww* >.<~
so i rather do spot-cleaning everyday to clear the poops... rather than clearing poops + washing litter pan =P
