Tewdric
Teenage Guinea Pig
I live in a very rural part of the UK. The vet I use is from a mixed practice and is not pig savvy; but they've been the only option up until now. I've been very lucky with my various sets of boys, they've all been remarkably healthy until old age issues, mainly dental, have caught up with them.
A new practice has expanded and moved into the area. They're still a mixed practice, but they're a much smaller set up and I've noticed on their website that one of their vets has recently passed "General Practitioner Certificate in Exotic Animal Practice Examination". Would that include much to do with piggies?
I don't have any issues with the current practice I use - but I know they're not specialists. Would a swap/inquiry be worth thinking about?
