Charlie, August 2010 - September 2014.
Long time resident of the back bedroom at the in-laws house. After seeming perfectly healthy if not a little out of sorts recently Charlie passed away suddenly last night hidden away in his warm, straw filled bedroom.
Charlie was a lively, positive and playful pig always keen to cuddle and be stroked and tickled. He lived the high life with a rich diet of pellets, straw, parsley, cucumber, carrott and on special occasions mint, coriander, basil and even the odd strawberry or grape. Charlie loved to play and explore and a sharp eye always had to be kept when letting him out. He had a touch of 'Iggle Piggle' about him, making funny squeeking and jiggling noises when he walked. He always seemed to be smiling if its possible for Guinea Pigs to smile and always saw the best in other pigs always being friendly and trying to play. Sometimes to his detriment when his late brother Benny wanted to be left alone or when newer, less friendly pigs were irked by his enthusiasm but he didnt let it dent his spirit and remained positive to the end.
He is survived by his mother Kelly, whom he loved dearly and with whom he spent countless hours snuggling and watching TV. Hours that will always remain precious.
Charlie touched the lives of everybody who met him and will be sorely missed by many people.
R.I.P Charlie.
