Awe that is awesome. Unfortunately right now till Charlotte Marie’s pelvis is healed we cannot try and bond her with any other piggies.☹️ I have them in a longer pen with a divider at one end so they can at least talk, smell and be similar together. We are going to build a new pen for them by the weekend.
Right now they will have to be in our daughters room. ☹️

No . Our daughter has all bonded girls. I think because Charlotte was in so much pain she just didn’t know what to do.
 
Just ordered trial sized gorgeous guinea bath shampoo for my girls. Ummmm they are gonna be soft and smell good. Even ordered paw cream.lololol
 
Charlotte Marie had her LAST f/u visit for her pelvis. The first X-ray is of her now healed and almost straightened fracture. The second shows how bad it was when discovered at four weeks old. Her doctor is so thrilled with her progress. I have been weaning her off pain meds over the last week and half. She may need some throughout her wonderful life but not on a twice a day regiment. She still cannot live with her mama but they are still side by side and have play time together. I did get to expand CM side of their pen. It’s hilarious. She was quite upset all HER belonging were moved about. She now has to move her little butt out of her hidie hut to eat and get hay. Lololol believe me. I got yelled at a bit last night as I wiped down and expanded her side. Lololol hopefully soon we can see how it goes and they can then live together without the biting and nipping.

I think I might have a problem. ☹️ My girls get third cut orchard grass. They were eating it all the time. Now they won’t. I tried oxbow Timothy grass today and they ate a bit of it. I take their pellets out in the afternoon till late evening, then return them at bedtime. They aren’t eating hay. As I know it is essential for them and a huge part of their diet I am getting a bit worried. Any suggestions? I had it on their bedding then put it in hay racks. It is loose so not to tight that they cannot get it out. TIA for and help or suggestions.
 
Oh dear that is a problem isn't it? Have you tried other hay to see if you they prefer it? Never come across this problem before. Luckily mine are all complete pigs and scoff theirs. I get meadow hay straight from the farm in bales (can just about fit 2 in my car in black sacks) and they love it. I must go the farm tomorrow .....

Hi Besy.. We get the third up hay straight rom a farm also. So far my girls haven’t lost weight, well I weighed them the other day and they hadn’t lost weight. I am going to try the Timothy hay again today. I have also wonder if they are maybe depressed? They haven’t been able to be together for about 5-6 weeks now because of CM s pelvis. They are side by side and can sniff, see and talk to each other. I am going to work on a lot of play time this week and hoping to take the divider out so they can then live together. Hoping that will be the solution. I just worry about mom attacking her daughter again if left alone. Finger crossed this will improve their appetite.
 
It maybe the hay racks, mine won't eat from them. Try putting hay in a pile for them to rummage in. Also as @Betsy says try some different hay for a change. I use meadow hay in beds which they mostly eat, but they also have a couple of handfuls of timothy a day which they like as well.
 
Thank you. I will take the racks out and see what happens. I put them in and put litter pans in. I was hoping they would eat from the racks. Being hairless I didn’t want them eating hay that is wet from their urine.
 
Would you have room to leave the racks in over the pans? Are they hanging ones? They may get the hang of the racks when they get used to seeing them? Piggys are such funny little things change often needs to be gradual for them to accept it!

Lololol and yuk I have emailed their vet to see if I can take the divider out of their pen and see if they can live together. I hope. Hoping they will get along and that will help with their appetites.
 
Great news. I took the hay racks out last night and they dove into it. Skylar Jean, mom, sat on our son’s chest last night. Then my daughter took her very calm silky out and put her on his chest next to SJ. Almost made me cry. SJ snuggled right up to Layla and stayed there for about 20 mins. Then we added Charlotte Marie, the baby, and oh what a sight. They all three snuggled together eating hay on his chest. Lololol he has a long beard and CM snuggled under it. Lololol. So today SJ and CM are in the big play pen down stairs and enjoying being together. It’s the first time I have seen CM do zoooooomies. They have hay between their beds, water bottles on each side, and two dogs and a cat to baby sit them. Grids on top of play pen along with two blankets. I think this is going to be the day I take their dividers out and they can live in an open pen.
