Ok, usually my mum baths the pigs due to me freaking out because I used to bath them but one day one of my pigs jumped out of the bath thing and bolted up the towel rail. Since that happened I have not washed the pigs and my mum has had to do it for me. But over the last few days I have been working with 1 year old Charm, or Pif as I call her, alot and I have decided that tomorrow I am going to make an attempt to give her a bath. I know this sounds pathetic, me scared of bathing her, but I really was scared that the other pig got hurt and I just didn't want to put Pif or pancake in the same postition..So...well...Wish me luck for tomorrow... -hugs Pif-

Good luck bathing her! It can be really difficult if they're fidgety wee things. I put a basin in the bath when I'm bathing them but then one of them always manages to jump out that too.

Good luck. Just stay calm and I'm sure you will be fine. My 2 wiggle like anything and try to climb up the sides of the bath. Luckily they soon realise that they can not get out and just let me get on with it x

Hi while I'm in a bathing topic.....ive had my 2 little pigs for about 6 weeks now and was just wondering how i would go about bathing them i know i must be the daftest person on here but wouldnt want to do anything that hurt/scared them, is there a way i should introduce them to the idea...should i bath them one at a time....any comments welcome thankyou....And goodluck on you bath tomorrow i hope it goes better this time xx

You should bath them one at a time and hold onto them at all times. The first few times they get a bath, they will struggle and wont like it. After a while they get used to it. Charm is a very placid guineapig so noone has trouble with her...
I bathed her! It was awesome! She only struggled once and that was because I accidently put too much cold water in...She was such a darling like usual...Next week I will start bathing ringo and pancake(confidence is growing)
:)
had to get some pici's of my baby after her bath...Mum washed pancake and ringo..

with the picture I accdiently put twice, it was really funny. Charm and Ringo was watching Pancake get her nails cut... They were sitting there watching and teasing(in piggie language) Pancake. But they didn't realise their nails were next! :)

Thanks, I only did the white and ginger one though. Mum did the other two.. The other two got a bit of shampoo in their eyes and i spent half an hour trying to hold them still to get it out of their eyes :) Charm then decided to lick it up and get rid of it out of their eyes. I thought she was biting their eyes at first. But now that I know why, i think it is really cute...

Well done sweetie -c-c-c
awwww don't they all look nice and fluffy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hey this will come in handy for the hot weather, if you can get them used to baths you can give them a quick dip or a cool down when you're in the midst of the horrible heat.........which you guys get at times :{
btw the pigtures are gorgeous i'm so in loooooooooooove xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>

thanks :) yeah, my mum will keep washing pancake and ringo until my courage gets higher and then I will bath them every week. Yeah, the weather here is so hot, sometimes I feel as though it is a barbecue..Thankgod I live near the beach.... :)
