Has anyone used the chartwell hutches with their hutch covers . Are they any good in heavy rain?

I've used them for 8 years,you need the thermal cover,it lasts 4 years in all weather's.

I have them on my hutch even though it is in the hutch now. Before I moved here 4 years ago my hutch was outside. I had the thermal cover and the waterproof cover on it. They were really good. They are definitely worth the money.

Yes, if your hutch is outside you need both the hutch covers - immediately over the hutch goes the thermal cover (with the Bye-Bye Fly screen attached in summer) and over that the waterproof cover with clear plastic front. I have these for my Chartwell hutch which is in an outbuilding, for fully outside the thermal cover is essential to keep in the warmth of snugglesafes and piles of hay for the piggies.
I use thermal and waterproof hutch covers even though mine are in the shed
