Cheap C&c Cages

I've been looking through C&C cages for sale online and most of them are expensive. I've asked my hubby about them and he said look for wire storage cubes instead (in Ebay and Amazon) and it's all the same. I've checked and I've seen 30pcs grid panels with connectors for only £22! Hubby said that not a lot of people realise that these types of panels have been used years ago as storage units in shops and offices. It's just recently that it's been used as animal cages.

I'm gonna start buying more next month! :yahoo:
 
The only thing I would check is that the grid panels are 9 squares by 9 squares. Some of the storage units are 8 by 8 and there have been some cases of piggies getting their heads stuck :no:. But you will definitely be able to find 9 by 9 if you look :yahoo:
 
I have 6x6 panels (yes they are old, the first ones hubby bought in the past) and I had to put cardboard cut outs around the bottom half of it when the piggies were babies. The 8x8 panels that we have are all rusty hence I haven't used them. Now I can buy replacements for them since I've seen cheaper ones. :yahoo:
 
I use the ones from wayfair recommendation. The reviews.are fab and they are great quality
