just a little tip,i've just been to alidi's for veggie for piggys, they have a super load going cheap, big bag of carrots 39p,brocoli 39p,baby corns for 99p,blueberries for 99p and sweet potatoes 79p and celery 99p!god my boys are spoilt today :)) thought i'd share a good bargin!only trouble is some days the veg look a bit manky but find mondays are good and a pal says sundays are too

Aldi is good for prices generally, it won't be a special offer but the veg does tend to be closer to be turning that other places so just get what you need for the next few days. I found tesco value veg tends to be quite good especially as I only have two piggies. A small pack of baby corn was 50p and about the same for a big thing of broccoli cos the value one is mainly stem but my girls love the stem anyway! Can also get cabbage and a few other bits fairly cheap. I've found sainsburys best for peppers as you can get a bag of 5-6 peppers from their basics range for £1.20 although the market will probably be cheaper lol

We often get our veg from aldi. We find it very good value for money. We often buy cabbage, carrots, peppers, celery and brocolli from there. they are generally good prices but they also often put them on offer too.

i think the carrots and brocoli were in their offer of 5 types of veg for under 50p but they always do have cheaper veg there!sainsbury for peppers are good they last ages too if the boys dont gobble them up!just gave them blueberries for the first time and all pulled a yucky face with tongues stuck out as to say yuck what was that!i used to find our market cheap for veggies then a different guy took over and they are same price as everywhere else now

Oh my, Yes Aldi in Aus the a bag of carrots is 90 cents! Oh my gosh!
Their celery the piggie love as well.

I use Aldi a lot, or Lidl if I can get there, not just for the piggies-
I buy a lot of our food from there. But similarly if you go anwhere late at night you'll often get short dated stuff dirt cheap, we have a co-op over the road, which normally is expensive, but I can often go over and get veggies at 8pm for 10p or so, and then use them over the next day or two.

Markets are really good, ours does loads of these big bowls of veg for 99p
