Hi everyone,

Checking back in. The bonding of the little sow and the big is going overall great! No fighting or teeth chattering of any kind. They had 4 neutral ground meet ups lasting about an hour and got to the point where the little one would start calling for the big one when separated.

I moved them in together and it’s been over a day, but I now am noticing the little girl rumble strutting. The big one squeaks and squeals in submission. It seems the 3 month old Abyssinian is becoming the alpha to the 1 year old (huge) white crested.

No red flags other than the squeaking makes me nervous that she’s getting bullied haha.

Any advice of info so I can understand their dynamic is appreciated! Thanks

Sorry this post was missed. How are they getting on now?

I hope the girls have settled in well together 🥰

Guinea pig social structure is fascinating. Completely the opposite of what I would expect. Well done ❤️🐾
