Hi,

Last week, my family put chemicals in our grass to treat weeds that are growing in our yard. How long do I need to wait until it is safe to feed grass to piggies?

I wasn't sure if I should've posted this in Health or Food. Sorry if it is in the wrong section.

Thank you ahead of time :)

I am no expert but I dont think they can go on it if its covered in chemicals 🤔🤔... someone with more knowledge will be along soon

.

It does depend a bit on the chemicals, but I think the general rule of thumb is always 3 rain storms and 3 grass cuts before letting the piggies anywhere near it.
But in all honesty I wouldn't let them on the lawn this Summer - chemicals can hang around for a while and it just isn't worth the risk.

I waited until after the 3rd mow and lots of watering or rain and then I only let my piggies on it for around 15 mins before I took them off.
