I noticed this with my piggy Sierra a few days ago. Do you think it's cherry eye? It's very tiny at the moment. I tried to take a good photo to show here, I hope it's visible enough. It doesn't affect any of her behavior at all and she is her normal self.

Well, our local vets don't know what it is. She said it might be cherry eye but since it's not bothering Sierra at all, to just leave it at the moment and observe. Our local vets are farm vets so we really can't get much a lot from them regarding guinea pigs. My piggies are off to the boarding tomorrow for 3 weeks because we have to go to the Philippines for my brother's wedding. I would have to let the boarding know about Sierra and to have a closer look with her eye to see it's not growing and bothering her during her stay there. She's still a very happy and active piggy so not much concern for her. Fingers crossed she's still the same when we get back. My piggies always have something going on before we go on holiday.

Hope Sierra’s eye is ok while you’re away.
Have s great time - hope the wedding goes well.
Best wishes to your brother.

You will have to share photos when you get back
