Chest infection

I have just brought my guinea pigs inside last Saturday and over the last 3 days the 5 month old has developed respiratory infection which I think is upper area. I have to go to the vets Thursday to get it checked buti'm worried. How can it come on from moving outside to a warmer house.

@Gizmo rose It could be a coincidence or it make possibly have already had the infection but you didn't notice until it came indoors.

A change in temperatures could give cause for concern, it's always best to maintain temperatures rather than flip floping. I'm not sure if they came inside for a permanent residency over the winter perhaps or just for some cuddles times.
