Pet Comforts

Hi
I have had Banoffee who is a Sheltie since he was 8wks old .
I have always trimmed his coat and my dog groomer even has used the thinning scissors on him to keep him clean and tidy.

But the last few weeks from his neck going down half-way his back he really looks as if he has had a good hair cut. They don't moult that much do they?
Do you think his pal is chewing his coat? Although he has never had this problem before. He can't be chewing it himself because he cant'reach the area inbetween his ears can he?
What do you think, any advice?
?

wow I didn't realise it was so common.
It really does look professional though not untidy at all.
Thnks for that

I had a Peruvian that had this and I was convinced my neice had cut her hair with scissors! But she hadn't - one of the other pigs had been at her. Really clean edges to the cuts though!
