Chewing The Plastic!

Certain piggies have been chewing the plastic in their c and c cage. On their ramp. My fiance put some cardboard over it and over lapped it so they'd hopefully chew on that instead.
The little nuisances ignore their expensive wicker toys and hanging chew toys. They gnaw their cardboard hides. But prefer to destroy their nice home and eat the purple plastic stuff that probably isn't good for them.
Trying to get them engaged with the hanging chew toys by hanging veggies in them, no chewing but veggies are gone. D: Stop stressing your mother kiddies!

I think @Tim suggested putting file slide binders on top of correx to stop them chewing it. You need to get 1mm wider than the correx is. You can get them off of Amazon. Am I remembering this correctly Tim?

They had that on the ramp but the little nuisances managed to get the bit that connects to the floor I will take pictures. They've made a sizeable chunk of a gap already before I noticed what was happening. The little menaces!
