I had to put my guinea pig Chewy to sleep today. I'm so sad. Don't know if I will get another one. But I might. Just not right now. I miss him alot.8...8...

Thank you all. Yes, Glynis this was him. I went to get him out to give him water because he wasn't drinking or eating anymore. He wasn't breathing right. So it was time. I just didn't want him to suffer anymore. I buired him under my deck.
 
I'm so very sorry about Chewy. I've read so many posts about Chewy and it saddens me to hear he is gone. It must have been so hard to see him suffering. You did the right thing, although that doesn't make it easier. I sincerely hope you are feeling better soon. He was so loved and I'm sure he knew it. RIP little Chewy. We are thinking of you...

I am SO incredibly sorry to hear that you have lost Chewy. :0 :0 My animals are like part of the family to me, too.....and it is absolutely heartbreaking to lose one. I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better, but I know that there isn't. So just know that I am thinking of you. ::hugs::

With time the wounds will heal and you might contemplate another little furry friend to love and cherish.
 
Indy_fan, I'm so sorry to hear that little chewy has passed away. I was checking for any updates on him anxiously, and I'm sorry to hear that this is the way its gone. However, i think you've been very very brave for putting his welfare first, it is not nice to see our little friends suffering. Was he your only pig? If so, do stay around the forum still to keep in touch with us all. Now is probably not the right time to get a new piggy, but in the future, you may feel you would like to. RIP Chewy.
 
soo very sorry that Chewy has gone to the bridge, I know exactly what you mean Fugly is my baby the same way Chewy was your baby.

As Bubblesqueak said stay around we all know how you feel here, and when the time is right I am sure another piggy/piggies will steal your heart.

BubbleSqueak, I would love to get another guinea pig. And yes, he was my only one. I know he should have a friend but at the time I couldn't get another one. And thank you. It was hard to make that choice. But I know it was the right time. I really like this forum. All of you have been very nice and I like that. So thank you all for the warm well wishes. It means alot to me.x)x)x)
 
I'm so sorry you had to put your little one to sleep. It's always the hardest decision to make and I'm sure you made the right one xx
