Chilly here today so the piggy shed door has been all but closed all morning. Sun is now coming out so I’ve just been out to check on them and open the door some more. I found Popcorn pig fast asleep, curled up, head resting on the ground (he never does that), chooken feet out, fully relaxed (he’s Mr Uptight so this really is not common to see). Opening the door disturbed him (despite being as quiet as I can), he jumped up and it’s has broken my heart to have disturbed him from his obviously lovely nap!
Daughter says - funny how this has upset you but you have no issue yelling at me to get out of bed! 🤣

Tell her piggies are different - we expect defiance and regular naps from them 😁 I know that feeling though. Chanel is the hider and tends to sleep under cover. So when she sleeps out in the open I’m so chuffed!

That is so funny.
My daughter was complaining this week that the guinea pigs never have to clean their own bedrooms and even when they trash their cages I never shout at them, but the minute she leaves a sock on the floor I am bellowing like a fishwife about messy teenagers :))
Might be true....

Luckily my three have yet to start comparing themselves to the piggies and complaining I’m a slave driver 😁
