We are new owners but thought we would share a lovely piccie of Rosie having her evening cuddle! I never realised a guinea pig could lie like this - is this normal? I hasten to add hubby was not holding her down she was mid-stroke!

Adorable ! Some piggies will sit like that and some won't. Some don't even allow lap time and really let you know very quickly they want to be back in their cage. You are blessed if your piggie is going to be that happy and chilled out!

Yes it's normal, and a very good sign, because as @Gimz says, not every piggy will relax as much as that. The back legs sticking out like are what many forum members affectionately call 'chooken legs', and that's a gorgeous pair of chookens on a gorgeous piggy!
