Chirping Pig

Hi could I just ask what it means when a piggy chirps? My ginger piggy has done it twice now. Once while on my lap and once in his cage while with my othere piggy.

Nobody knows! Some piggies chirp, others don't, some do it a lot, some rarely. The general knowledge seems to be that they chirp simply because they want to

It is still the big mystery that nobody knows the answer to. Attempts to explain it range from joy to distress.

I have currently got a regular chirper, but there is seemingly no outward stimulus that could explain it. The companions tend to go quiet when a chirper gives a concert, and it seems to happen more often when things are quiet, like at night, or the chirper feel unobserved.
