One of my pigs chirped for well over 5 minutes this morning! I have no idea which of the 4 it was because they were all hiding at the time but the dogs were fascinated! I have a fancy it was one of the girls and I also suspect one is in season as there was much squeeking and activity this morning. I wonder if the two are connected? Was amazed it went on for aaaaaages and only stopped because I snuck over to see if I could see who was singing and scared the **** out of them LOL.

Funnily enough my Honey chirped for just over 2 mins the other morning - sounds like a canary - she was off to the vets last night and I played it to the vet and all the girls and nurses on reception - they were fascinated as they had never heard it before.

Aww its lovely to hear isn't it :)

I caught my Dopple chirping back along & was lucky enough to have my mobile handy to film her whilst she was having a cuddle! :luv:

Just Caught Dopple Chirping :)

its a beautiful sound, ive heard it twice and it has on both occasions been at 2am in the morning, and from teenage cavies, but that is probably a coinsidence

Right little piggies to be at the rescue. I want chirps. It is such a magical sound. I would love one of mine to do it. Will have to wait and see!

Two of mine have done it now. The first time I couldn't work out where the sound was coming from having never heard it before but of course, this time, I knew exactly what it was. Just wish I could have filmed it but I couldn't move from the chair or else they would have stopped! It really is lovely to hear - just like a canary!
