He is Helen I used to run into the pig room thinking he had hurt himself but he was just popcorning! 98) ;D

And little Jasper, he became the loudest wheeker, he learnt that from Pearl who I may add was in heat yesterday and was humping her food bowl! 98)

I have some crazy pigs! ;D

Yes they are. :)

Choccy is already living up to his reputation. We had him out for a few minutes last night and he was really nosy to begin with, wanting to find out what was around him but then he settled down on Julie and was really lapping up some attention, I think he's going to be a mummy's boy :smitten:

This morning we put his food bowl out and he upturned it and was eating the cavy cuisine from off the floor, I'm not sure if that was deliberate or not though. ;D
 
Haha Marty yep thats what he usually does! Everytime I put a bowl of dried in he tipped it up and then looked all innocent at me! :smitten: Watch out for him jumping into hay racks as well! ;D
 
We put his hay rack as low as possible after you telling us that, so if he does do it whilst we're at work he should be able to climb out. :)

I can see he's going to be a handful :smitten:

hehe jasper comes out wen your not in the room wen he was in the pen yesterday we could only just spot him next to are cream wall. lol ;D ;D
 
Haha well Choccy is now renamed Boomer McChoccy and lives with Julie and Marty. Jasper as you know is coming back to live with the girls. I can't wait to have him back here again! He's such a doll! :D

Yes, Boomer MacChoccy has been here for a while and he is one of the most entertaining piggies we have had the pleasure of looking after - what a handful! He's like a really intelligent child - needs to be entertained at all times or else he'll try to:

eat stuff he shouldn't
pull up his vet fleece
play with his water bottle
eat more stuff he shouldn't
throw his willow sticks around
shout for attention
rumble at Dylan
bang his hayrack against the correx
nibble
tear out all the inner paper from his chube

He insists on making a beeline for our bedroom at floortime as the piggie room is our spare room across the landing from our bedroom. If the door is almost closed he'll headbutt it open to get in. He's obsessed with our room! Then he will sit in front of the large floor length mirror and chat away to his reflection.

When he wants fresh hay, regardless of whether or not he actually has a load left in there, he'll stick his head under the hayrack then quickly remove it as it makes a loud noise - this obviously pleases him as he does it again...and again...and again... Martin was watching him earlier and Boomer looked at Martin, looked at his almost empty hay rack, looked at Martin - looked at the hay rack...this happened several times until Boomer lost his patience and started hammering the hay rack again. He really is extraordinary!

Having had the pleasure of looking after Boomer and Dylan I can vouch for what a little pickle Boomer is! I used to put his hay in a litter tray during floor time and he took great delight in turfing all the hay out before hoping into the tray for a nap! Just like Julie said, he takes great delight in waiting for a reaction from his humans! Needless to say, Dylan just sat quietly and watched his friend getting into all sorts of trouble! The look on his face was a picture "what IS he up to now Auntie Sandra"?!

Aww Boomer is one of those pigs that is not really seen as an animal. Hes gorgeous! I will never forget him jumping out of a basket like a kangeroo when he was here and he just flopped on the floor as if to say well come and get me! I had visions of him running around the living room!

He will always have a special place in our hearts! ^)
 
Sandra, Dylan has that expression whilst watching Boomer almost permanantly!

Yes, he really is a super character and there is never a dull moment with him around.
 
What a cute picture! Its a shame I didnt get to see his antics, he sounds hilarious :)) must have been on his best behaviour -c
