It was July 2007, and a friend asked me to look after his two piggies Chocolate and Ginger so i said yes not knowing to much about piggies i looked them up on the net. These two beautiful babies came to stay they were only a few months old.
As soon as they went home i knew i wanted some of my own so its was Chocolate that started off my love of piggies.
He came on many a holiday with us, and in August 2009 he came to live with us full time as he lost his friend Ginger. He moved in with Jim and Joe and had the best life you could imagine with his two friends. He was a very special piggy who loved his food and his two best mates.
On Tuesday of last week he was not eating so i took him straight to the vet he was at the vets Tues and Wed and they could find nothing wrong with him, his teeth were fine. So i had him home and syringe fed him and nursed him keeping him comfortable and at 10.58 on Friday layed in his daddys arms he left us peacefully to go to Rainbow Bridge we think he may well have had a heart problem.
He would have been 5 on February 14th next year.x)
We are so upset at him passing but take comfort in knowing he had a fabulous life and loved his food right to the last.
RIP Chocs
