Choking noise when eating

my Guinea just made me panic, he was eating and made a choking noise. He’s gone back to eating but I feel like I need to have him looked over

Hi! It is likely that something was going down the wrong way but has come up again as he is able to eat again. If you are still worried, have him vet checked tomorrow.
 
If it was a one off situation and you haven't heard him make that noise since you are fine. He may have just eaten something a bit oddly. If you hear that noise more often then I would definitely get it checked. Just keep an eye on him when he next eats.

It was the first time, I’ll certainly be checking on him regularly, that noise scared me
